A village fixture since 1964, this colorful restaurant is owned by Carlos Ventoso, a Spanish chef who specializes in an octopus dish with a pungent taste of garlic. Start with the chorizo sausages or Spanish mountain ham with melon, then revel in one of the hearty paellas, chock full of fresh seafood (and chicken in the paella Valenciana). Also recommended are the arroz con pollo and the camarones A la Carlos. The best dessert is the homemade flan. The coffee tastes as it ought to: strong, robust, with a true Spanish spirit. The wine list has a decent selection of Spanish wines.
