THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Elements Global Cuisine Restaurant Review: The interior is nothing fancy, but the service and menu offer much more. Dishes are basic in nature but carefully crafted, and you might find choices that are unexpected for this corner of Gulfport. A favorite is the jumbo shrimp Lobo over linguine featuring fat shrimp grilled and tossed with artichoke hearts, sun-dried tomatoes, fresh tomatoes and baby spinach, napped with a balanced white wine sauce. Another fish favorite, sea bass Ponzi, is presented as a filet seasoned with white and black sesame seeds and finished with a Cognac-crushed black peppercorn demi-glace. The brief menu also offers a veal and chicken duet and a wood-grilled duck breast. Be sure to check out the desserts, which are all house-made and vary nightly. The owner also makes a chutney each day to pair with the house-made breads.
