| It's more about the music than the food at this venerable Latin American hot spot. Elvia's was playing salsa in the suburbs before salsa was cool---or, rather, hot. We suggest that those who want to enjoy a dinner experience more than a dancing one go early and sample the eclectic menu of Tex-Mex, Latin American, Caribbean, Middle Eastern and American cuisines. Best of the bunch is red snapper sautéed in garlic butter with almonds. At all hours, you'll have to speak up to be heard above the surround sound. |
