Elway's Restaurant Review:
Named for former Denver Bronco quarterback and NFL Hall of Fame inductee John Elway, Elway's at splashy The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, offers a wide menu selection, extensive wine list and a sophisticated dining room with dark woods, comfortable seating and prime people-watching. Signature items include hand-cut, aged USDA Prime steaks (the bone-in rib-eye is our top pick), along with lobster, Alaskan king crab legs, salmon, Colorado rack of lamb and roasted chicken. Requisite steakhouse sides --- mashed potatoes, creamed spinach and Brussels sprouts --- are large enough to feed two, and we suggest sharing the warm chocolate brownie for dessert.
