Emerald Chinese Cuisine Restaurant Review: Emerald Chinese Cuisine is famous for its dim sum, though there are a wealth of other Cantonese-style dishes to be found at this popular eatery. There are plenty of dishes on the menu that are noteworthy --- we like the lobster in ginger sauce and the pan-fried whole scallops, as well as the beef with satay sauce and crispy tofu. But what we come back for are the tiny steamed buns served from carts that are rolled around the restaurant. Don’t miss the shrimp pearl balls or the bao (barbecue pork buns). One of Emerald’s dishes, Peking duck, is carved tableside, and worthy of ordering for the ritual and display. The bar and lounge offers an impressive selection of craft beers and cocktails that showcase the young mixologists' talents, like the Sweet Lew Mojito with coconut rum, lime and basil.
