| Despite its name, Emerald Seafood is more commonly known as a dim sum destination in San Diego. That’s not to say that the fish dishes on the menu are not worthy---they are. We especially like the lobster in ginger sauce and the pan-fried whole scallops, as well as the beef with satay sauce and crispy tofu. But what we come back for are the tiny steamed buns served from carts that are rolled around the restaurant. Don’t miss the shrimp pearl balls or the bao (barbecue pork buns). |
