THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED This branch of a Culver City favorite is a welcome addition to the Valley’s increasingly multi-cultural dining scene and a great choice for anybody on a budget. You order at a counter but the blue-and white-clad tables, lacy curtains and shelves lined with dulce de leche make you feel like you could be at a little Buenos Aires café. As the name suggests, this eatery specializes in empanadas and they’re outstanding. Among the best of the house’s sixteen varieties are cheese & onion, ham & cheese, corn-filled, and criolla-style (beef, raisins, green onions, eggs and spices). You’ll also find Argentine-style tamales and crispy Milanesa sandwiches with chimichurri sauce.
