Emperor's Choice Restaurant Review:

Seafood stars --- especially the salt and pepper shrimp --- at the handsome-enough storefront decorated with elaborately embroidered royal robes and drawings of the Chinese emperors who might have worn them. Pot stickers are a fine way to start. Diners can order live Maine lobster in multiple styles, from Cantonese to Peking versions. A long list of specials supplements the menu. Meanwhile, family-style dinners tap into the kitchen's strengths. In general, the Cantonese choices outshine Szechwan and Hunan dishes, though we’ll admit the kung pao is pretty good. If you're adventurous, try a casserole of sea cucumber, fish lips and black mushrooms. Service might be the best in Chinatown, but that's not saying much.
