THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Endless Summer Bar-Cafe Restaurant Review:

The Endless Summer, with its surf culture, is big on ambience, more so than dining. The menu is unassuming, with typical California-style fare such as spinach salad with sesame-crusted ahi, and a Baja chicken sandwich topped with Ortega chilies, guacamole and jack cheese. Located on the second floor of Santa Barbara's former Naval Armory building, the room offers views from the offshore islands to the mountains. For outdoor dining, there are two tropical-themed lanais. Inside, the scene evokes a surfing-memorabilia museum, and includes classic posters from the movie that gave its name to the restaurant. While the food is somewhat predictable, the place is frequently packed, particularly the bar during happy hour. There’s a nice selection of local wines by the glass and tropical cocktails, and the laid-back service goes well with the coastal setting. Locally made McConnell’s coffee ice cream fills an Oreo cookie crust in the Kauai mud pie, and the cheesecake, drizzled with fresh raspberry sauce, is made in-house.
