 Even before you enter ENO, the cozy boîte on the ground floor of the InterContinental Hotel, its aim becomes clear. The glass multi-tiered cases filled with specialty cheeses and chocolates near the entrance are a definite clue, as are the shelves of wine bottles and decanters. Choose from 30-plus imported and domestic cheeses, available in single servings or in flights (we particularly like the aptly named “Skunky Punk”). If you have difficulty choosing from the 5,000 bottles of wine, about two-dozen of which are available by the glass (ENO is short for oenology after all)---opt for a flight. End with handmade, floral-scented chocolates and truffles from local chocolatiers.
