Enoteca Sociale Restaurant Review:

This Italian "wine library" is modeled after an enoteca, a place to relax at the end of a long day. Enoteca Sociale chef Luca Gatti’s menu features shareable plates and daily house-made pastas that take cues from classic Roman cuisine and local, seasonal ingredients. The menu is traditionally divided into antipasti, secondi and contorni, followed by cheeses and desserts. Options may include beef crudo with pickled cinnamon cap mushrooms, pork belly and scallops served with celeriac purée, and Brussels sprouts in anchovy vinaigrette. The restaurant is willing to cater to dietary restrictions, including gluten-free. The lower-level wine cellar features not only a view into the “cantina” but also of the harvest table where family-style feasts occur.
