Enoteca Sociale Restaurant Review: This Italian "wine library" is modeled after an enoteca, a place to relax at the end of a long day. Enoteca Sociale chef Luca Gatti’s menu features shareable plates and daily house-made pastas that take cues from classic Roman cuisine and local, seasonal ingredients alike. The menu is traditionally divided into antipasti, secondi and contorni, followed by cheeses and desserts. Options may include baked kale salad with persimmon, chickpea fritters with lentils, and homemade trecce finished with spicy tomato sauce. Pasta dishes may also be made gluten-free or from kamut. The lower level wine cellar features not only a view into the “cantina,” but also of the harvest table where family-style feasts occur.
