Eric's on the Pier

Eric's on the Pier Restaurant Review:

An Avalon institution since the 1920s, Eric's is a simple stand on the pier, with stools and tables lined up within the bounds of a white stripe of paint demarcating its narrow slice of decking. Eric's is perfect for soaking up the ultra-casual island vibe, and munching on a burger while scoping out the pedestrians wandering Crescent Avenue. Mornings mean breakfast burritos, omelets and bagels. Later in the day, fish 'n' chips and tacos are on offer, as well as clam chowder served in a large bread bowl. Signature buffalo burgers are the specialty of the house, though the meat is not sourced from the island's herd roaming inland. To complete the indulgence on a hot day, ice cream is available for dessert.
