| At this lively, attractive restaurant, semi. circular rows of tables rise, amphitheater. style, above a display kitchen in which workers busily prepare pasta, shovel pizzas in and out of a brick oven and arrange plates for servers to whisk off to eager diners. The menu focusses on seafood but offers sufficient options for those who prefer food that hasn’t spent its life wet. There’s an excellent selection of antipasti; ask for a sampler plate. Simple preparations of fresh fish receive top billing and kudos, but we prefer the seafood pastas, especially those that enhance their briny flavors with a little red pepper and a discreet use of herbs. |
