Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen Restaurant Review

: Jennifer Jasinski and Beth Gruitch, of Denver's Rioja, Stoic & Genuine and Bistro Vendôme, have another winner with Euclid Hall Bar & Kitchen. This upscale American gastropub hustles a seriously impressive menu, executed by chef Jake Grant, of house-made, hand-cranked sausages; poutines, including a version with duck confit, duck gravy and cheddar curds; and chicken with sourdough waffles and pure maple syrup. And when it comes time for a sugar high, the kitchen delivers in spades, turning out s'mores pot de crème and a sourdough waffle ice cream sandwich with salted butternut ice cream. The culinary cognoscenti slide up to the chef's counter to get the best views of the exhibition kitchen, while the tables along the windowed walls, both upstairs and down, are privy to sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains. We covet the craft beer menu, which proffers serious brews --- everything from Old Speckled Hen to the Lost Abbey Lost and Found. And both the well-priced wine list and innovative cocktail roster have inherited the same degree of thoughtfulness.
