| Eureka! Burger is a slick, modern interpretation of the old school burger joint, with hip chandeliers and abstract art. There is also a strong element of the sports bar woven into this concept, which the owners have parlayed into a burgeoning mini-chain. Begin with miniature corn dogs, wings or a mountain of truffled fries. The burgers are more than decent (a bit greasy, but that’s not necessarily a negative attribute for this genre), made with one-third-pound premium Angus chuck patties and served on soft rolls. Among the many renditions offered are the cowboy burger (onion rings, bacon and barbecue sauce), Turkey Cobb (with Dijon mustard dressing), and even one wrapped in a tortilla. Plenty of salads are available, as well as a shrimp po’ boy and hanger steak sandwich. For dessert, consider all-American items like butterscotch pudding or a root beer float.
