THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Eve Encinitas Restaurant Review:

This colorful café, draped in greenery, is a portal to the westside Encinitas scene, as locals enjoy cozy couches for lounging, hand-carved wooden tables from India and al fresco dining. Friendly, smiling staff serve up kombucha on tap, cold-pressed juices, healthy smoothies, acai bowls and vegan dishes. Start the day with a Neurohacker smoothie, cold brew coffee loaded with brain octane like probiotics, omega oils and coconut milk. The Super Cereal Bowl features house-made turmeric granola with fresh fruit, while a massive and shareable breakfast burrito is stuffed with nopales, zucchini, corn, peppers, yams, brown rice, black beans, mushroom, kale and carrot, and drizzled with cashew cheese and the smoky mystic sauce. For lunch, try the truffled mushroom and coconut “bacon” flatbread with a cauliflower crust, or the famous jack fruit tacos with black beans, roasted corn and avo "crema." Chef Scott Steele rocks his Buddha Bowls; The Aphrodite comprises herbed quinoa infused with cashew tzatziki with nuggets of broccolini, chickpea falafel, roasted mushrooms and a medley of olives. Desserts rotate, with vegan showstoppers like espresso cheesecake, caramel bars, and chocolate peanut butter or lemon coconut truffles. Look for uplifting events and holistic vendors in the stylish back room.
