F. McLintocks Saloon & Dining House Restaurant Review: The Wild West is alive and well at F. McLintocks Saloon & Dining House. Even though the restaurant offers an ocean view, the interior décor reins it in with a stampede of branding irons, saddles, and even a jackalope or two. This is definitely a place to get your cowboy (or cowgirl) on. Signature tastes are the oak-grilled steaks --- from New York to T-bone to baseball-cut top sirloin --- but the slow-roasted and grilled tri-tip is a winner as well. Fish is a good catch, too, especially the salmon, but whatever is your fancy, bring your appetite because every table gets bottomless family-style servings of crunchy onion rings, skillet fried potatoes, smoky trail beans and garlic bread. Your meal also includes a serving of sorbet or ice cream, or you can opt for one of the 15 complimentary after-dinner liqueurs. The wine list highlights local labels, with several available by the glass. |
