Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon Restaurant Review

: With an elaborate on-premise brewery, kitchen and real pit smoker, the Cleveland outpost of Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon offers an American mix of brewpub fare. Brisket, pulled pork and ribs are all quality choices. The best way to enjoy these ingredients --- and many, many others --- is in any of the 16 giant sandwiches. Beauty & The Beasty features pulled pork in a “Beasty BBQ Sauce” topped with coleslaw, pickles and raw onions. The Full Cleveland is loaded with kielbasa, brats, hot-pepper kraut, Swiss, 1000 Island and Stadium Mustard. Wings, munchies, salads, pizzas (made in a stone oven on house-made sourdough crust), burgers, subs and melts round out the selection. Service is spotty, but the beer and the food are respectable. Desserts aren’t impressive.
