This bistro-style dining spot located next door to Lumière is a neighborhood hangout. The patio is laid-back, but inside, the main room features slick, high design. A sexy all-red room with bar and tables sits modular and curvy, like a spaceship. The menu is fun---everything from a cheese smokie with sauerkraut, sautéed onions and lardons to a Peking duck clubhouse. There’s also a burger (all Angus with sautéed mushrooms, cheddar and bacon or beef short ribs, or foie gras), an Alsatian onion tart flambée; poutine (a Québécois fast food of hand-cut french fries and cheddar cheese curds topped with gravy); and a calamari sandwich. Save room for the apple galette with vanilla ice cream and rich caramel sauce. The cocktail and beer lists are serious, too.
