THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Felicia's Restaurant Review: This well-liked South Philly spot is constantly expanding and redoing. Right now it looks fine, with floral paintings all over the walls and vines winding round the arch that divides the front room from the back. The big, streamlined bar takes up much of the front room, so sitting there can be very noisy, but the staff will anticipate your needs. The cuisine is somewhat sophisticated for the area, and the clientele is more suburbanite than neighborhood family. The mixed antipasto, featuring meats, cheeses and vegetables, is very popular, as is the penne Felicia, with onion, prosciutto, white wine and fresh tomato. You can get the classic version of fettuccine Alfredo, a strip steak sautéed with brandy and cream, and grilled fish. The calamari Siciliana made with olives, capers and fresh tomato, is particularly intriguing, and the simply grilled veal chop is hailed as one of the best around.
