THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Fenix at The Argyle Restaurant Review:

What do we like about Fenix? A lot of things: the location in the heart of the bustling Sunset Strip, the hotel with its long history, and the view. The French-Asian cuisine is typified in dishes such as Summer Rolls of cured tuna, avocado and daikon sprouts; pork tenderloin with roasted cauliflower panna cotta and braised red cabbage-ginger wontons; and the Rock of lamb, baked in terra cotta clay (broken tableside) with five-spice and charred vegetables. The Asian wind has also blown in desserts such as coconut tapioca pudding and Thai sorbets. The views from the Art Deco room and the terrace, where you can dine, are those you see in movies; they are a real attraction!
