The Field transports you to Ireland with its hearty classic fare, fine ales and Irish dancers as entertainment on Sundays. It’s our favorite destination when there is a chill in the air, or better yet, when it's raining. The dark woods and the real-deal bar imported piece-by-piece from Ireland make it a genuine pub, as do the festive happy hours, broadcasted soccer matches and live Irish bands. The Field serves up all the requisite Irish dishes like corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, beef stew and boxty---potato pancake crêpes rolled around sage chicken, vegetables or rashers (Irish bacon) and cheese. We can't get enough of the thick potato-leek soup or the crisp (not greasy) fish ‘n’ chips.
