Great Wine List

Chef Jonas Karlsson puts together an exciting daily-changing menu, taking the finest seasonal ingredients and enhancing them with smart touches. A summer menu might take in fresh garden pea mousse with Pecorino and pea shoot salad or crab with peppers, avocado and croutons. Follow that with sea bass with a warm salad of fennel, shallots and capers or cod with Puy lentils, blazed pork cheeks and clams. The sourcing is impeccable, hardly surprising as Harvey Nichols prides itself on its top food hall which to Londoners outdoes Harrod’s and Fortnum & Mason and definitely has the fashionable edge on its rivals. The wine list is similarly impressive, so ask the knowledgeable sommelier’s advice for some first-rate bottles which are not greedily marked up. Service is as smooth and friendly as you could hope for anywhere. Set Market lunch and Sunday brunch 2 courses £19.50, 3 courses £24.50; Set Market menu 2 courses £35, 3 courses £40; Tasting Menu £29.50; Dinner menu set 2 courses £35, 3 courses £40.
