| This local chain specializing in inexpensive fresh Italian launched at this tiny location situated near office-warehouse complexes, and grew its business on the hungry lunch crowd that streamed in from these nondescript buildings. Soon, the same denizens were taking home the freshly made pastas, house-baked breads, and desserts. That's one scenario. The other is you stop by for a quick lunch (perhaps the most popular time to eat here) or early dinner. There are a few tables and chairs outside, but nothing much, and within are stools and a counter. But when you're dining on plump crab-stuffed ravioli with wild mushroom-cream sauce, you don't care. Simple, cheap, delicious. Every city needs more of this sort of thing. No alcohol. |
