Figo is a gracious yet casual and comfortable Italian eatery, with a cozy bar just inside the front door that allows views of the kitchen and chef at work. Take a couple of steps down and enter the large dining room, which spreads from west to east. The menu ranges from designer meatballs (made with beef, veal and pork) to carpaccio, grilled calamari and porcini risotto. Pasta dishes are generally well made (especially the Fontina-stuffed gnocchi draped in tomato cream sauce). Enjoyable desserts include zuccotto al cioccolato and rotolo di fragole (sponge cake roll with strawberries). Service is very good; the wine list is adequate.
