THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Fiona's Tea House Restaurant Review:

It feels a bit serendipitous when you happen upon the ivy-covered Victorian cottage that is home to Fiona’s Tea House. An oasis in a sea of concrete parking lots and imposing high-rise office buildings, the little two-room restaurant with the garden patio offers respite to downtown workers and out-of-towners who have read of Fiona’s heirloom-recipe scones. Filled with antique tables, crystal chandeliers and mismatched china, Fiona’s serves breakfast foods that include heart-shaped walnut and banana waffles, fresh herb and brie omelets and homemade granola. For lunch, we recommend a Michigan cherry pasta salad, shepherd’s pie or chicken pasties. New Zealander Fiona Palmer wows afternoon tea guests with her meringues, finger sandwiches, cream puffs and an authentic New Zealand Pavlova.
