THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Firebird Cafe Restaurant Review:

It’s hard to imagine a more sumptuous space than this over-the-top fin de siècle St. Petersburg Russian. Everything about this place screams serious, from the long mirrors and towering Gustav Klimt prints to the caviar, smoked salmon and Champagne and every conceivable vodka. Cabaret entertainment runs the gamut from serious song (think: Aïda aria) to musical comedy (think: Noël Coward). If this is the perfect post-theater spot, then its adjoining townhouse restaurant Firebird is an ideal pre-theater destination complete with uncommonly good borscht and so much more.
