FIREHOUSE American Eatery + Lounge Restaurant Review: Make sure to ask for a rooftop table when visiting FIREHOUSE---the view is half the fun. Breakfast calls for pecan french toast with brioche, candied pecans and fresh berry syrup while a healthy gourmet lunch appears as a strawberry blue salad of organic greens, berries and blue cheese topped with your choice of ahi, chicken, shrimp or halibut. We also suggest the burgers, like the roasted poblano pepper version, topped with goat cheese, caramelized onions and chipotle aïoli, and while the ribs fall on the sweeter side of hot, they are tender and tasty. Health-conscious patrons will appreciate the roasted half chicken glazed with white peaches and mustard, plated with French beans, or the grilled salmon with lemon risotto and grilled asparagus. For those craving finger foods, there are bar snacks galore, like mini corn dogs, fried calamari and cheese-y quesadillas for nibbles during sunset cocktails. DJ entertainment on weekends pulls in an energetic bar crowd. |
