Five Brothers Grocery & Sandwich Shop Restaurant Review

: Five Brothers is a corner grocery store that’s a fixture in Key West for both locals and visitors. Heriberto Paez Jr., the son of one of the original five brothers, makes coffees all day long, six days a week, while other relatives work the small, back kitchen. In the morning there are guava and cheese pastries, muffins and toast. For lunch, get a Cuban sandwich with ham, roast pork and Swiss or a black bean and chipotle burger and daily specials like picadillo, ropa vieja and oxtail stew. Shelves are stocked with canned guava paste, chorizo, hand-rolled cigars, dominos, and Key West jigsaw puzzles.
