This is our top pick for fast food at Animal Kingdom. Flame Tree is a small walk-up window, and all of the seating is outdoors under shaded pavilions next to the Discovery River---all the better to sit in the shade, drink a Safari Amber beer and munch a half-slab of St. Louis ribs, barbecue chicken salad or a smoked half chicken. The substantial sandwiches are served with baked beans, but you can order a side of fries or some coleslaw (which tastes great slathered on the sandwich itself).
