Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar Restaurant Review: Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar offers an eclectic mix of global cuisine in a chic, ultra-modern setting. At lunch, diners can pair the Cape Cod lobster bisque with a New Orleans-style shrimp po’ boy. Dinnertime brings an Australian lamb chop with rosemary garlic jus lié, French-inspired Boursin-stuffed filet with Yukon Gold potato and red wine bordelaise, and the Italian-influenced veal scaloppine with Parmigiano Reggiano orzo. Consider ordering a "flight" of three small plates in any of several categories, such as seafood. Flight’s wine list features a large selection of vino by the bottle, but diners would be remiss if they didn’t try one of the namesake wine flights: “The Red Carpet” includes the restaurant’s finest reds, while “The Bailout” highlights a few wines that won’t break the budget. Desserts extend the theme: try the “Cupcake Flight” (strawberry, s’more and red velvet) or the “Fondue Flight” (fruit, cake and cookies served with dipping sauces of chocolate, sherry-custard and caramel). |
