Specializing in global cuisine, Flight offers diners a chance to “fly” around the globe without ever leaving the ground. The lunch menu at this chic, ultra-modern eatery offers selections based on geography. For example, diners may choose to pair the Brazilian butternut squash soup with a New Orleans’ style shrimp po’ boy. The dinner menu offers both small plates and entrée-size selections, such as Atlantic cod with shrimp risotto or grilled ostrich with wild mushroom ravioli. A veal tenderloin with lump crab meat hollandaise and asparagus comes in a small version for $12 or the full Monty for $31. A buffalo strip steak with mushroom risotto and Cabernet syrup may be had in a $13 version or the larger $34 dish. Or, even better, one may order a "flight" of three small plates in any of several categories. Seafood, for instance, provides small tastes of three seafood dishes. Flight’s wine menu features a large selection of vino by the bottle, but diners would be remiss if they didn’t try one of the restaurant’s namesake wine flights. The Red Carpet flight offers samples of the restaurant’s finest reds, while The Bailout features tastings of a few wines that won’t break the budget.
