Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar Restaurant Review: Floor-length drapes, white tablecloths, mirrored columns and fresh flowers lend Flight a chic, ultra-modern ambience. The menu features a mix of global fare and classic Southern dishes. Sage-crusted Australian lamb chops and Boursin-stuffed filet are listed alongside chicken and waffles or shrimp and grits. Those offerings are served in flights of three or four dishes, allowing diners to sample several entrées. Flight’s wine list features a large selection of vino by the bottle, but diners would be remiss if they didn’t try one of the namesake wine flights: “The Red Carpet” includes the place’s finest reds, while “Tiny Bubbles” features Champagne and sparkling wines. Desserts extend the theme. Try the “Southern Flight” of pineapple rum cake, chocolate pecan pie, and bananas Foster bread pudding.
