Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar Restaurant Review

: Flight Restaurant & Wine Bar offers global cuisine in a chic, ultra-modern setting. And not only are diners invited to take a virtual taste flight by sampling dishes from around the world, they may also try smaller samples of food and wine in flights of three or four dishes. For example, if you can’t decide on one soup, you can order a flight of all three on offer (lobster bisque, seafood gumbo, and the soup of the day). Entrées are served in flights as well. The “Wonders of the World” flight features pork tenderloin, veal scallopine and Australian lamp chop. Flight’s wine list features a large selection of vino by the bottle, but diners would be remiss if they didn’t try one of the namesake wine flights: “The Red Carpet” includes the restaurant’s finest reds, while “The Bailout” highlights a few wines that won’t break the budget. Desserts extend the theme: try the “Cupcake Flight” (strawberry, s’more and red velvet) or the “Fondue Flight” (fruit, cake and cookies served with dipping sauces of chocolate, sherry custard and caramel).
