THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Flintridge Bar & Grill Restaurant Review:

For several years, the Flintridge Inn was among the more elegant and romantic dining rooms in this affluent foothill community. With a facelift and concept change, it has been transformed into the Flintridge Bar & Grill, a more lively and approachable venue that seems to agree with the locals. The menu now emphasizes beef, with moderately priced USDA choice sirloins, porterhouses and prime rib. Barbecued baby back ribs are a popular house specialty, but those leaning towards something lighter favor the blackened salmon Caesar or chicken teriyaki. Starters include clam chowder, salads and shrimp cocktail along with a terrific garlic bread (the new chef formerly hung his toque at The Smokehouse, where the cheese bread is inspirational). The dining room has been brightened up a bit and decked out in light earth tones. A couple fireplaces, one in the bar and one in the dining room, add a homey touch.
