| Pastas show strongly on Floriana’s menu, though delicately battered fried calamari and a generous portion of sautéed spinach basking in a shower of oil and garlic are notable as well. The giant veal chop is satisfying; the pork loin with its horseradish cream sauce is a triumph of spicy flavors that is muted by the side of mashed potatoes. Desserts include tiramisu, but we recommend the raspberry tart and its delicate, flaky crust. Service is a bit slow, but you’ll get plenty of bread for dunking in olive oil while you wait. |
