The Flying Biscuit is an Atlanta-founded institution, famous for its biscuits and its vegetarian fare. The biscuits are not as big as we remember they used to be, but we prefer the current iteration anyway, with a little crispness to the exterior. Bacon, meatloaf, hash and pot roast are all made from turkey, although apple wood-smoked bacon made from pork now appears as a side item. We like the pancakes and french toast, too. Sausage is crafted from chicken or soy. Vegetarians, including vegans, will find their comfort zone in the tofu scramble and the barbecue tofu burrito for lunch. Desserts are made in house --- we suggest the chocolate "biscuit" bread pudding. No alcohol is served. Other locations.
