Flying Fish Cafe Restaurant Review: Leave behind the hubbub of Disney's BoardWalk when you step into this stylishly casual eatery where the décor conjures up dreams of the deep blue sea. Giant shimmering fish scales hug the walls. Delicate lights dangle from oversize fish hooks. Chef Tim Keating has fun in the open kitchen, turning out creations like the crispy calamari with sesame seeds and Japanese pepper, fresh Jonah crab cake, timbale of hearts of palm, and oak-grilled scallops. Though fish is the specialty, the char-crusted New York strip steak with roasted potatoes is a winner. Repeat diners save room for desserts---there’s always something inventive. Plenty of wines are available by the glass, and they mix a fine martini.
