Flying Fish Grill Restaurant Review: Family-owned and friendly, this longtime local favorite was one of the first Asian-Fusion restaurants in the area. It's known for its strong and distinctive spices and sauces, rich dishes and surprisingly reasonable prices. Every meal starts with complimentary wonton chips with a fresh ginger tomato salsa. And it only gets better from there. The do-it-yourself seafood clay pot is a fun dish for two or more. Filled with a light broth, bok choy, carrots, green onions, mushrooms and mussels, the clay pot is ready for dipping salmon, calamari, prawns and scallops. Vegetarian and beef versions are also available. Other memorable delights include pan-fried oysters and pearly white sea bass. On the flip side, certain dishes can be overwhelming for sensitive stomachs --- opt instead for simple chicken spring rolls and a hearty steak. Beer and wine are served.
