THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Flying Fish Restaurant Review: The Chestnut Hill area needed a seafood restaurant, and Flying Fish aims to oblige. The slightly cramped quarters are straight minimalist, with white walls and papier mâché fish figures. The wine list is adequate, and the staff is courteous. Some Asian touches appear, like crab wontons with soy dipping sauce, and potato crusted Chilean sea bass with a soy orange sauce. Crabcakes, brook trout with fennel, and a hearty stew of mussels, shrimp, clams, scallops, monkfish and lobster tail, are other favorites. Desserts are tasty too, and they seem to do a big business in dessert coffees with different liqueurs.
