| The décor is as sleek and fashionable as the menu and the clientele. Soft colors and tons of tiny tiles wrap the room, making the minimalist environ come off as modern-day Milanese. The youthful, willowy waitstaff are not chosen by accident; the place is owned by Bruno Abate of Hype Model Management, and the space showcases an ever-changing array of designer fashions. In culinary terms, it’s not your typical Chicago Italian restaurant either. That’s to say red sauces are not running wild here, even though you will find mainstays like osso buco. Try the pizza, prepared in a wood-burning oven in the true Italian manner, or the authentically prepared risotto with fresh artichokes. The short menu changes frequently. |
