| An urban hot-spot with a great view of downtown Denver from the intimate patio, this dimly lit and moody Highland gathering place flaunts fascinating people-watching, coupled with a rollicking happy hour, a film projector that displays movies behind the bar, clever cocktails and an eclectic menu that borrows from the Mediterranean. Low-hanging pendant lights reflect off the stainless steel bar set along one mirrored wall---the other wall is all windows. Of the numerous beers on tap, try the Guinness stout. We also recommend the seared ahi sliders, paved with a sriracha soy aïoli and dressed with cucumbers, avocado and micro greens; the hummus platter plated with pita and vegetables; and the Colorado-raised quail sided with a fig and celery stuffing and fig-glazed asparagus. |
