Fortune Buffet Restaurant Review: If you’ve turned up your nose at the idea of eating at a Chinese buffet, come here; you’ll leave a convert. Fortune Buffet has a bewildering selection of nearly 170 menu items, from its fresh sushi bar to row upon row of tempting, all-you-can-eat Chinese and Vietnamese dishes. We usually start with sushi, perhaps smoky eel, avocado and flying fish roe. Then it’s on to tasty pork dumplings and wonton soup. Among entrées, we like the spicy, double-cooked pork as well as the sweet-and-sour pork and chicken. Other items include scallops in black bean or hot garlic sauce, peanut chicken, whole fish, snow crab, Peking duck, mussels and at least six steamed diet items. Besides the regular buffet, there's also a Mongolian BBQ with a chef on hand for individual, cook-to-order dishes. Wine and beer only.
