Foxy's Cafe Restaurant Review: Here's a respite for sand-weary beach-goers who find themselves a block or so from the Gulf shores, wandering past T-shirt shops and souvenir emporiums. Buffalo wings are a perennial favorite, but there are also pizzas, pastas, sandwiches galore, soups and assorted sides. We like the garlic toast and the homemade meatloaf topped with mashed potatoes, gravy and onion straws --- the meatloaf is also available in a sandwich, hot or cold. Locals know to ask the server for the "special: chicken wings hot sauce” --- the stuff kept in the kitchen. There are no surprises, but on a hot summer day, Foxy's is a cool, dependable spot. |
