This elegantly decorated restaurant is relatively expensive and formal by the relaxed standards of the South Bay, but locals who appreciate excellent Italian food flock to the place. The service is efficient and knowledgeable. Chef-owner Enrico Glaudo, previously of Primi, specializes in homemade pastas, steaks and seafood. Highlights include nut-crusted sea bass and very good roast duck in a brown herb sauce. The solid wine list is split between Italy and California. Whether you prefer the pleasant patio or the more romantic back room, this place is likely to make you very happy.
