While other local bistros may provide more of an authentically French flavor, it’s hard not to like this friendly, attractive eatery that’s an ideal choice for the conclusion of a Rodeo Drive shopping---or, for most folks, window shopping---spree. The very narrow storefront eatery is decked out in decorative tiles, murals of the harvest, and a granite-topped bar. You’ll find good omelets for breakfast, plus delicious house-made croissants and pain au chocolat to accompany a memorable café au lait. And for lunch, there are enticing salads, a charcuterie plate, a burger with caramelized onions and Gorgonzola, or a croque monsieur, the traditional Parisian café favorite.
