The Frieze Restaurant Review: Lisa and Robert Warren started The Frieze, naming it for the Art Deco details on the buildings in Miami Beach, apt for a product that freezes. Son David is now learning the ropes in making fresh artisan ice cream daily. Flavors change with the seasons but there is usually vanilla-toffee crunch, cappuccino chip, coconut, butter pecan, rum raisin and mint plus all the American swirls filled with cookies, fudge, caramel and nuts scooped into waffle cones. Such infusions as ginger-pear and green tea make appearances in sorbet. One can also get egg creams, milkshakes, malts, and customized ice cream cakes.
