Froggy's Topanga Fish Market Restaurant Review:
True to its name, frog statues abound at Froggy’s, a ramshackle fish market set in the hills high above Malibu. A family-friendly ambience prevails in the large dining room and on an outdoor patio with a fireplace. Entries on a big board change on a regular basis, featuring seasonal options like wild jumbo shrimp with celery purée and an ahi steak. Standbys are highlighted by fried calamari, seafood enchiladas stuffed with halibut and shrimp, cod fish ‘n’ chips, and rainbow trout grilled with a lemon-butter sauce. For dessert, go for the caramel apple pie à la mode. The wine list is very limited, but there are a few specialty cocktails and even saké on offer.
