Frozen Dairy Bar & Boardwalk Pizza Restaurant Review: While the years have wrought changes in this old-timer---from its existence as a standalone shack to an enclosed and shiny modern eatery---the place still serves some of the best and creamiest frozen custard. To keep its business a year-round entity, and as a way to compete with the younger, fresher gelato and ice cream parlors, management has added a hot menu with pizzas, pastas, sandwiches and a few Italian entrées. Yet the savvy know that the real draw is the frozen custard: sadly, you’ll find only two flavors, chocolate and vanilla, and a swirl of the two. Also check out the shakes and malts. |
