THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Gardens on Glendon Restaurant Review:

Set in one of the oldest buildings in Westwood, this brick-walled restaurant features ficus trees arching to the skylights, terra-cotta floors and a pleasant, airy ambience. A pianist serenades diners while eager young waiters prepare guacamole tableside. Portions and cocktails are generous, service is good, and the menu offers many enticing choices. The most interesting tapas are the signature sardine bruschetta, jumbo asparagus in whole-grain mustard sauce and “paper cone” crab cakes made with lump Maryland Eastern Shore crab. The entrées are primarily comfort food items like meatloaf or hot turkey with mashed potatoes and gravy, grilled salmon with chipotle mayo and sweet white corn, and seared and roasted veal chop with wild mushrooms and Cognac demi-glace. There is even international fare: Bombay Madness utilizes grilled lamb chops, curry butter, pickled ginger, East Indian spiced shoestring fries and mint chutney.
