George's Restaurant & Pizza Restaurant Review: George's is an affordable, quaint little pizza parlor, all brick walls and cozy booths, and so much more. Founded by Greek immigrants more than a quarter-century ago, it has grown and evolved into one of the Farmington Valley's few places for a late-night bite. Pies are made to order with your choice of original or New York-style crust, as well as more than two dozen toppings. More often, though, we find ourselves stopping by for a gyro to go or a heaping plate of nachos or pasta long after most area restaurants have closed. If you try only one thing on the surprisingly diverse menu, which even includes fried and broiled seafood, make it the rich and creamy eggplant rollentino, available as either an appetizer or a meal. A children's menu is available, but the popular Olive Bar in the back stays open long after the kiddies have gone to bed.
