| Geraci's, with its vast Italian-American menu, caters to college kids, couples and young families looking for good food sans the big check. Known mostly for its pizzas, Geraci’s pies feature all of the standard toppings, though you can get versions with grilled eggplant, spinach, pineapple, artichoke hearts, broccoli and barbecued chicken, too. The pizzas (four-cut smalls or eight-cut jumbos) are among the best in town. The pasta, cooked al dente, is equally tasty. What the dining room lacks in atmosphere---the long, narrow room easily becomes noisy and hectic---the food more than makes up for in comfort and quality. |
