Dining room at Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse, Rosemont, IL

When you've got it you've got it, and despite the fact that this joint has been around the block it keeps packing them in. The crowd at this outpost is not as celebrity-oriented as the downtown location. Nevertheless, Gibsons still manages to pull in the high rollers. The steaks, chops and massive shrimp cocktail---not to mention the over-the-top lobster tails---are on a par with Gibsons' downtown beef spa, and so is the service and atmosphere. Quite frankly, we have never met a steak here that we didn't like, but we are enamored of the bone-in sirloin and the bone-in prime rib with creamy horseradish sauce. Keep in mind that side dishes and desserts are sized to feed a party of four. Service is very professional.
