THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Gilmore's Restaurant Review:
Peter Gilmore, a disciple of Georges Perrier, creates modern French fare at this BYO situated in a Victorian house in the center of West Chester. Specialties range from snails in garlic hazelnut butter and warm seafood pâté to the poulet Wellington. Dessert may include Sauternes-poached pears with crème anglaise and chocolate sauce. Whatever the choice, the meal is elegant, but not stuffy. If you go during off-peak hours, the drive to this quaint town is about 45 minutes from Philadelphia.
